What does the 2-day excursion include?
Transport by air-conditioned 4x4 from your hotel in Djerba, one night on site — in a Saharan camp or a hotel depending on the package — with breakfast, an accompanying guide and the visits. Some meals are included.
Which sites are visited?
The troglodyte villages of Matmata, a crossing of the desert, and the oasis of Ksar Ghilane with its natural hot spring and Roman fort. A camel ride or quad biking is often available as an optional extra.
What should I bring?
Closed shoes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a swimsuit, a towel, an overnight bag and a warm jacket — desert nights are cool, even in summer.

Un peu cher pour une tente
Le paysage est magnifique mais le prix pour une nuit en tente collective est excessif. De plus, les sanitaires sont rudimentaires.

Attention aux enfants
Excursion géniale mais attention : la piste est longue et cahoteuse. Nos petits ont eu mal au cœur. Prévoir des médicaments.

Superbe aventure
La baignade dans la source chaude de Ksar Ghilane est très agréable après la piste. Le repas du soir était copieux. Je retiendrai l’accueil chaleureux.

Nuit magique sous les étoiles
Le bivouac dans le désert est une expérience unique. Les chants berbères autour du feu, la nuit étoilée… Inoubliable. Le camp était confortable (tentes propres).
